Both of mine are using screws. I don't think rivets would have an advantage...Anyone?

I will be giving 30" tires in front and 31's in back a shot.

Use 28-30" tall front tires. 235 75 15 LT, 700 15 are popular sizes. The taller the front tire the smoother it will roll through bumps and holes.
If your engine is stock with stock 12 volt T-1 gearing use the same tires or for the rear. While for rear tires 31x10.50 work better in soft dirt, a stock 1600 struggles to move these taller tires.

Until you widen the beam this is normal. You can make steering stops but eventually one relearns where to stop turning the steering wheel.T Smile It will ride better if you 235 75 15s. Beat the lip in with a hammer. You can make steering stops

The adjusters were added. It has been a while since I did ball joint bushing but make sure not to knock out the inner bearing if the plastic sleeve does cover the arm where the inner bearing rides. I recall some kits reused the inner bearing and others did not.
