Here are a few o my fave's, of course, starting with my very favorite of them all:

BajaSquared...

My son Robert driving BajaSquared:

The results of Robert driving BajaSquared.... Now temporarily referred to as Baja Impaired:

My personal favorite group shot of the cars:

Another group shot of the cars:

What happened here? A seriously bent steering stabilizer was preventing SamW from being able to turn left. It was binding on the tunnel.

Here, SamW is doing his best impersonation of HOTBAJA, while sneaking up on his prey:

SamW, proudly displaying his trophy kill. He said he's going to take it to the taxidermist when he gets back home!

more misc shots....

And per our recent SoCal Bajas tradition....

It just wouldn't be right not to include somebody taking a leak in a run photo collage:

What'd junior run into, out of curiosity?

Looks like fun. I imagined the terrain would be much more technical/hardcore.

it wasn't a difficult run, but it was a good mix of technical, fast, and interesting terrain. He lost it a bit in a sand wash and ran into a cliff that was sticking out into the wash. It's fixed now. Baja Squared is now Baja Repaired!

I'd still like to do a run with all of you Arizona skallywags some time!

Sorry I missed it.
We are spending the winter in the desert near Ehrenberg and internet access is sparse.
Hope everyone had a good time.
DD

OK. A few us are going to spend the night in our trucks just outside of Baker on Saturday night, the 1st. We're meeting around 6:30 or 7:00. Baker is a tiny little town on the 15 between Barstow and Las Vegas with one street. Looks for baja bugs and Things. We'll be there. If you want to join us, we'll be cooking carne asada for dinner and it is fantastic!

The actual run will start with a brief meeting at 8:00 on the Harry Wade turn-off from HWY 127, which is the only road north out of Baker. Again, it will be super easy to find. Just drive 1/2 hour heading north out of Baker and look for our cars off to the left.

If anyone is interested, we'd be glad to have you along. PM me, and I'll give you my phone number. We're up to 12 or 13 cars so far, with a couple of cars driving in from north of San Francisco!

It'll be a bunch of fun.[/quote]

I know. I need to update the site.

The "Thing-A-Thon" has 21 cars signed up so far, only six or seven are Things, but we'll have more soon. I know of at least two more that will probably attend. It's on February 20th.

Info is on our forums, under "Runs and Events":

"Thing-A-Thon" Run

Got work off and don't have school that Saturday! 99% sure I'll be going for the day on Saturday unless the Baja breaks between now and then...

Probably will bring it on a trailer
