Thought I'd introduce myself since that's what this sub forum is for Very Happy

I grew up in Arizona but mostly with motorcycles and 4 wheelers. Long story short... now I live in Sweden and all the snow and rain make motorcycles and 4 wheelers quite a bit less attractive. Especially when it's freeeeezing cold. So I decided to go the baja route since I've always kind of wanted one anyway.

Last summer I picked up a 1969 BJ/swing axel that I have big plans for... I'm afraid my plans are bigger than my wallet though so we'll see what happens Laughing There's a good chance I'll be coming to AZ to visit the family in Feb and I plan to pick up some cheap parts when I'm there so be prepared for lots of stupid questions and newbie threads in the coming weeks. The baja culture isn't exactly thriving here in Sweden which makes certain things pretty hard to come by so I have to make the most of my visit.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and customizing my Baja!

Yeah, I was looking around and was wondering where the best place to put them is. Do most people use the Gallery or the My Garage thing? Maybe it doesn't matter. Just though I'd ask.

By the way, where's your gallery Wink

Welcome to the forum. Best place to keep it in order is a post in the AZBAJA projects and builds forum.

My car isn't really a project or build so it felt kind of weird putting it there. It would fit in better in a sporadic upgrades forum Laughing I decided to go ahead and make a garage gallery. Hope it works. It seems to be working for me anyway.

Welcome. I bet you miss AZ, what with all the snow in Sweden. What's happening there?

Actually I don't mind the cold too much... I can always just put on another sweater (or three) Smile This week though has been crazy cold. Colder than normal for southern Sweden, down to about 0 F. I know all the Colorado people and others probably think that's nothing but it does make me worried for my little baja sometimes.

The AZ summer on the other hand - that was just unbearable at times. I always try to make sure my visits home are in the fall or spring so the weather's prefect. I do miss a big desert to drive around in though.

Thanks everyone for all the welcome comments!

Welcome, don't worry about the weather. SOME of us here in the west desert know what you're dealing with. We deal with it too. Smile Layers and carb pre-heat work wonders.

Kyle
