Lets you hear you engine talk to you. Use 5 lug hubs and wheels. Get rear discs with e brakes and ditch the park lock. A proportioning valve mounted in the dash lets you fine tune the bias for different terrain. It is unreliable and illegal for a parking brake. If your going to install a cage spend the extra time and go 3x5 for the rear arms and 4" for the front. If your toughing it out with stock suspension dual shock the rear and abuild a Kafer Cup style brace with the second set of shock mounts added. Safety, suspension and close ratio 3/4 gearing are the best mods to do first. One snappy off road engine that will last is a 76x90.5 (1955) and a GB 307 cam along with a set of CB CNC 40 mm valved or Steve Tims stage one heads and a single IDF Weber. A full flow oil filter and cooler are needed along with an oil thermostat. You want a large steering wheel the small one will get snapped out of your hands. Use an 8 " rear rim and a 4-5" for the front. Ditch the hydraulic pedals. You picked play paddles for the rear which need to go very slow in rough terrain or fatal damage will result. 30x10.50 and 700 15 front tires are the way to go. If you go to combo spindles 33" tires will work but the transaxle needs to be geared for it. At $150 for a Scat shifter I would just use the stock one.
