i need to build a new motor i was thinking a 74mm crank x92 or 94 piston with a 110 cam and a 40 dell drla

Theres area lot of combinations that work well. If you use CB unitech or Scat I beam rods a 76 or 78x94 is no more work than the 74x94.

I have not with the 76 mm cranks and Bugzilla has not with the 78mm cranks.

i got a set of heads cut for 94 as well i took the case apart and it was already clearance for stoker and thats a good thing ith crank was 30 on mains and 20 on rods so its junk it was a fresh build but it knocked when i got it it had 10 under baring on a 20 crank so it had 4 rods knocking

Go as big as you can. Torque is what motivates large tires. An 86 mm stoke crank with chevy journal rods fit right in a case clearanced for an 82 mm crank with stroker VW rods. Keep the 110 cam. You will need a larger carb.

either a 2180 with a t3t4 turbo
rx7 13b rotory motor with a t4 turbo
or a 2.5 subaru with a t3 t4 turbo dont know wich one to choose

If you use a 40 mm valve 40 mm carb(s) are fine. The bigger ones may give you an advantage on the drag strip compared to the smaller ones. You won't be spending too much time at 5,000 plus rpms offroading. When you get to the 88 and 90 mm stokes you may need a 42 mm valves to get enough port volume to fill the cylinders efficiently hence the larger carbs. I'm running a 2180 with a VZ 30 style cam and a single Zenith. With a 3 rib T-02 transaxle and 33" tires it is out of breath in fourth gear at 90 mph at about 4500 rpms. The same engine with dual 45 mm carbs easily pulls to 6500 rpms which is about 120 mph. This cam starts pulling strong right at idle with stock like driving characteristics which is better suited to lugging the engine at the speeds you will be running off road with a stock suspension and with its 4500 rpm redline with correct heads still top out 90 mph. A big advantage of the 100 cam is you can use single valve springs with HD keepers and retainers which makes the lifters much happier. With stock gearing and 30" tires it may even pull better in 3rd and 4th gear than the 110. One of my favorite 90.5 bore engines is a 76 x 90.5 engine (1955) with a well ported 40x35.5 valved head (Steve Tims stage one, CB cnc ported 044s, Mike Fisher ported CB 044s, VZ 14 cam with a single carb. If your on a budget stick with your 1915 combo and the W110 cam. It won't be as explosive as the 1955 combo but will be much cheaper to build and maintain. The 1915 or 1955 with the 110 cam and duals should pass emissions but the 110 cam and a single will not. The 1955 long block with dual carbs and the 100 cam should last 100,000 miles. If you using one of the dual 40 Dells as a single be prepared to make major changes to the jetting, emulsion tubes, acc pump jet/settings and venturies.

im in California there no smog on my car i have three carb one set up one is for a single and one pair of duels i have a close 3rd and 4th 3 rib trans and 31 i cant drive the freeway it 3600 rpm at 55 its not fun i would like to build some thing that will pull from idle so i can lug it i had a 74x92 (1968) with a fk7 with 40x 35.5 duel 40 it ran strong but i would like a smaller cam so i can run a seingle carb

The FK 7 cam will work fine with a single carb. Having only 2 degrees duration and .20 lift than the VZ 14 cam it will be very similar. It is one of several cams I have bought to try in my 2110 engine. The VZ 14 cammed 1955 and Web 151 (VZ 15 custom ground on 110 lobe centers) cammed 1835 with single Zeniths I built both had incredible low end. The 1955 was in a 1972 Baja stock 12 volt T-1 gearing and would with a little coaxing spun Michelins 30x10.50 version of the BFG All Terrains all the way through first gear and bark them in second gear on dry asphalt. The 1835 in a 1968 Baja w/ 30x10.50 BFG ATs would break T-1 CVS. I ended up with a stock geared 3 rib and 280Z axles. If the FK 7 is still good I would reuse it. Another hi lift short duration cam is the GB 307 cam. I know a dentist in Reno with his own flow bench and dyno and has a 90x94 engine with his heads, dual 40s and a GB 307 cam (242 duration and .469 lift) and he can start out in 4th gear. It make 110 ft lbs of torque off idle up to 120 ft lbs. Another engine builder has a 2275 with an Engle 110 cam and a progressive Weber that makes the same max torque but not with the massive off idle torque. If your FK 7 is worn out try the GB 307.
