Prepped the Baja for another trip to OBX coming up next weekend. Hopefully with the better pressure plate and disk I'll have better luck playing in the sand than on our trip in the summer. Fashioned a quick/temporary bracket for a 12v socket so I can air the tires up with my trusty-dusty 12v mini compressor. Re-checked front alignment and steering componants. Inspected rear suspension. Got a little leak coming from the drivers side hub seal on the transmission. Got to fix that soon but I think it will be ok for this trip.

Needless to say we have been very busy working on the Pro Seatz Baja. The carpet is installed, headliner is done and am finishing up the fabrication work on the roof rack and get it ready for paint. The pics say it all.....

Looks awesome Scott! I cleaned the garage this weekend. Changed oil, cleaned air filters, and adjusted valves on the sandrail. Spent most of today getting the seatz mounted in the ghia. Pics in the Projects and builds section.

Finished the temporary 12v socket bracket. Placed it over the radio hole. Wired it up. Raised the suspension all around a bit to give me a little more ground clearance. The beach @ OBX can get some deep ruts so didn't want to drag bottom or get hung up. Checked the trans fluid level. Still good even with the little leak I mentioned above. Just need to wash it for the trip and we're ready to go.

Dirtjunkie came over and help me install my duel port heads. I still need more time. I don't think I will get to drive it to Bugtoberfast. I am still going Just probably on Sunday.
