Oh yeah, todays thoughts on the baja consisted of "I really need to fix the coolant leak on the Dodge b4 I get started on that thing." Sad dang ol' daily drivers anyway.

Use aluminum. Cut a piece for each side and figure out the length. Use sheetmetal screws and screw it in. Then look and see where you have the most depth in the body behind the piece, mark it, and cut your hole for you speaker. Polish it up real nice, put some swirls on it, or cover it with carpet.

I acquired 2x3 arms and everything else to put it in my 009 tranny. On Saturday I'm trading my 1641 DP for a 1900 T4 engine. Also on that day I am trading a 66 rolling chassis and baja (for use on a project class 5 that a guy is making, I'll talk him into joining and posting pictures!) for a modified kingpin front end or straight cash. So soon, my baja should be transformed, hopefully in the next few weeks depending on the weather around here.

Picked up my seatz today! Hope to get them mounted in the car this weekend. Before you know it I'll be able to sit in it and "think".

Pulled axles, cleaned, inspected and repacked CVs. YUCK! Definitely one of my LEAST favorite projects on the baja.

Drove it up to my brothers (good 40 miles one way) to see my new neice. Unfortunately mostly highway driving. Did get an invite to take it up to the cabin for some offroading on 2200+ acres of private property. SCWEET!!! Cool

Sorry I haven't posted pics in quite some time of Pro Seatz Baja, but we have been very busy started the business and it is doing well. Here is some pics of recent progress, working non stop to get it to Bugtoberfest.
We pulled out all the stock suspension and put 3 x 3's with 930 cv's in back with disc brakes, put 4 Bilstein 10" shocks. Up front did a lot of roll cage fabrication, removed the frame head, installed power steering and rack and pinion and a set of Tweeds 2 1/2" over arms. Did door panels through out the car, doing full carpet and custom headliner. Centerlines all around with new tires in the rear. We have also built a rack that will hold 4 KC lights and a spare tire for the roof, just not painted or installed yet and of course it will be pro seatz green!!! Cool
