Or this could happen to you! The kid bent a tie rod today and it sucked him rIght off the road. Again... It's a LONG WAY DOWN!!!!

Bent tie rods are BY FAR the most common failure on our SoCal Bajas runs. Fix yours before you're the one posting photos.

I used 1 1/4 .120 wall tubing on the fasty with 5/8 heim joints. If you are re-enforcing stock tie rods you can just get a length of 1" .120 wall and slide over the stocker and weld it on.

You can also cut a stock sway bar to length (T1) and with some hammering/wd40 it will fit very nicely in the tie rod tube.

washington climate is nice and cool, arizona is hot and miserable. if it's green in washington it's brown here lol

i look foreward to the autumn and winter months when it cools down to 70s-60s

Preston, there is desert in Washington also. Look at the Eastern part of the state.
Preston, do you like rain and rain and then more rain? And mold, mold...etc. Yes summers here do get old, but AC is a good invention. Excessive rain = high suicide rate. hmm go figure.

Not bagging on Washington, just acknowledging inconsistancies.

Oh yes, i'm fully aware of those facts. i was reffering to the western side of the state for the most part... AND YES! i like rain rain and more rain Laughing

northern Az is like Centeral Washington, and the rest of the state is like the eastern side, 'cept less cacti and they have snowy winters.

Hi from the UK.

We do an Off Road event at a VW show in the UK, and when we jump we end up bending loads. We too reinforce ours with the anti roll bar (probably called something else in the states). We slip it in the inside.

One of our members has also made some solid ones, which he sells.
