Hey guys!!

Long time no see.

Well, I got her running, blew it up first day, replaces some stuff, and now she runs, but i need a crank seal, and thats the only spot shes leaking from.

I also installed some offroad lights up front.

I killed mine today, too. Got her running and got her home, though. Very Happy

Kyle

Rear main seal? If you're talking about the pully side double check your endplay!!!

yeah, thats what i thought.

You have to take the gland nut off to put one of these on?

which involves dropping the motor, taking off all the clutch compnents, and then the gland nut, correct?

Wow, i dont know how i neglected you guys.

Ive been through alot with the baja since my last post...

Ill give ya a quick run down...

Uhm, blew up the motor on the first run threw the plains..

Bought motor #3 off of the CL for $200, running 1600 dp.

Installed, then took it up to the Big Bay muddrags and only had time for 1 pass, raced my buddy in his 86 gmc with 38" boggers, came within 2 car lengths from beating him, we both gots stuck, it was towards the end of the day, so the track was pretty much shit, almost made the whole way.

After the drags we ran it itll 2am on the backroads, till wer ran out of gas 10miles away from camp. fun nigh

Oh, and my friend in his toyota pickup was bitching because he couldnt keep up with me on the backroads, apparently he was going 60mph and couldnt catch us.

Pics..

Then....

Took it up to my camp, flat toed it up, smoked a wheel bearing half way up, so we put it on a trailer instead, put a new bearing on at camp, but the keyed washer was messed up, so she sheared the spindle off when we were doing about 30mph down a road, took the fender with the tire, alnmost took my buddy out when he was on his banshee, this was at about 12am.
pics..

Fixed the spindle with a new one from birddog in ohio! (thanks buddy)

She's still up at camp, having a great time with it still, a roll cage and re wire and seats and belts will come in spring, heres some good pics of me and the bug having fun.

oh, and new lights!

Just wanted to tell you guys that im still here, and having fun!
i will try to be more active over here, its a great forum.
