Well if you cant tell from the name, my name is Sam. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one here from SLC. Probably the youngest too, dont let it fool ya, Im 19. (yea, I heard that...)
I will be gettin married next spring, I graduate in 1 week with an AAS degree in Automotive Technology, then will continue on to get a degree in Mechanical Engineering. By day I build carbon fiber racing wheels (for bikes, dont get too exited) and on the side, I run my own business doing auto work. We do everything from custom roll cages to race ready engines. Most of our work lately is bodywork, shavin doors and the like. I personally am in it for the engines and tuning but somethin has to fill the downtime.
I have had VW's since I was 14. I did my first stock engine at 14, my first 1835 at 15. I rebuilt my first tranny at 15 also. My first project was a sandrail that took me from 14-16 to complete powered by a CB450. All done on my own! Ive been to every state auto competition known to man, both in high school and college. profecient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks... Bla Bla Bla...

Oh and when it comes to the tunes, nobody holds a candle to AFI Cool June 6th baby!

ive worked all over SLC region (a ton) over the past 4 yrs. lots of "problems" up there in UTAH Wink

the land is great, but the street numbering in the SLC metro area bites ars. if the adress is "east" then it is in the east quadrant and the street runs north/ south Rolling Eyes oh well........

um yea. ever been here? we are laid out on a 1 mile x 1 mile gride. the adresses advance 1000 digits every mile. east is east side going east, north goes north, and so on. the west side of the valley is avenues, the east side is streets. then north is streets and south is ave's.

example. if its 1234 e southern, then is east on southern just past 12th st. dig?!
