The clutch cable tube where the bowden tube mounts is all ragged and sawed through at the end by the cabel. I was going to slip/pound a smaller dia. tube inside the end. Is there a better way to fix this? I don't want to pull the engine and trans if I don't have to.

11/32 brass tube should slip right in (with a nudge or two). had to do it with my 59 recently. make sure you gat it an inch or more in past the bad spot.

All finished and working. I welded a larger tube to the 11/32 tube to contain the bodin tube. Installed the new pedals and cabel from Chrico. The clutch works easy and smooth. Shifting is fast - its ...its like a new car!
