wow, got boared at work, and look what I found
www.kaboodle.com/revie...unner-baja
my car listed for sale in 2006. I didn't get it till last novemeber. and I bet it sat from when this guy sold it till I got it.
8,500, wow. and I recognize the crappy blue cage color, the old school air filter setup, and there are enough part similarities to say that is my baja. haha

Well thanks to 57 Baja I have some type IV cv's on the way. with thing axles to boot. was cheaper than just getting the CV's.
also need some ideas on where to put the Ignition box. Thinking about a plate over the radiator, or between the cage bars so its inside of the cage and next to the motor. either way i need to weld a plate in someplace for it.

the downside to B is having longer cables on the ignition. although not the plug wires, I can put the coil closer to the distributor.

went with A
not a great welder, but the tabs are solid.
also got both sides setup for when the coilovers show up. I got the springs today, but no shocks yet.

there isn't really an in the car for me. the whole package try is gone. floor ends at the back of the pan, and the fenders are barely it down low in the back.
you can see it better in this older pic from before I painted it

what shocks did you put on it?? that thing is bad ass man, i would recomend making some sort of firewall for that thing. its gonna be a dusty mess in that thing the first time you drive it without the back of the body.
looks sick tho man..kudos

firewall and floor over the fuel cell are both things I want to do. firewall first, money is getting tight.
and the shocks are 14 inch 2.5 coilovers from FOA

won't have much to compare them too. unless you count the swing axle rail I used to have with torsions, and rancho shocks. hahaha, but maybe get you a ride in it once its running.
