Thanks DJ, that's my school of thought as well. I understand where the purists are coming from and in many ways I agree, but It's also my sheet metal. It's an old arguement...I didn't want to get one of those angry threads going...hell, FOOTBALL IS STARTING TOMORROW!!! I'm a happy cat! I'll do what I do, hang with you guys, and keep the interaction going. This is a great site....

GO BEARS!!!

Roy

I say cut it also. I love the look on peoples faces when we would blast the oval. It your can man and it looks just as bad ass bajaed out as it does cal look or what ever like junkie said! I personally like em street and baja, the rat rodders like kinda silly sometimes unless they put alot into them.

I went out to the garage and sat in the beetle last night and did some serious thinking...I'm going to Baja it. It's a friggin' car...it's not like I'm drawing a mustache on the Mona Lisa (which would be kinda cool...) If that sends me to some elitist VW hell, well...it can't be worse than dealing with my ex-wife, so I'll take my chances! FREE BEER AT ROY'S HOUSE!!!! (limited time offer...)

Roy...over and out.

Nice man, I couldnt agree more with DJ. That old and in that shape Id say Baja or Volksrod. Either way chop that mofo up. Look at Model T's, some say antique others say F it, make it a rail job with a blown big block. I guess same can be said about any car.
