Well all i think it is time to give up the baja. I have a guy i work with that wants it so bad he can taste it, and to tell you the truth i think it is time for something new.

I think it is time to go to a sandrail instead. I have found a lot of good ones on craigslist and samba for 4 to 5 thousand dollars, my price range, and so i am going to do it.

If anyone one else knows of any good sandrails for sale i am open to any good ideas. I can spend 4 to 5 thousand bucks and i want an irs king pin set up.

Man, that one with the 1915 looks like a sweeet buy. I'd still love to have a four-seater like that.

Good luck with the boss!

I've been through two Baja bugs and one sandrail and my wife never showed any interest. It was always me and my two young sons.

Last year we took a cruise down to Mexico and went on a dune buggy tour in Cabo and long story short, she got to drive one of them back to town from the beach and she LOVED it. I just finished up a F/G buggie and she is totally stoked about driving it and going off- roading in it.
Finally!

So, like jamesr said- let her drive it and tell her its for the family. Thats the only reason my wife has put up with my money pit of a hobby- its always for the family to do together. If i wanted a quad to go off and do things by myself, she would never let that fly...
