Under $5K is my price range. I would like a reliable car that I can beat around in the dunes.....not looking to set any records just something that will get the blood pumping. Maybe I should be looking a 4 person VW rails.

I would say no, thats not an orginal motor, you may have problems with it and him having the top cut off make me wonder if he rolled it cut the top off welded in a "fake" roll cage and is now tryin to just sell it fast.
