It is sad, but i am a thousand miles away and know all the Bajas on the front page at the PeterPiper Pizza place except for the brown one...

If I am correct, from left to right

Mustard Wagon
Erics Green Baja (does it have a name?)
?????
Baja Handy
Bugzyla

Im Thinking of painting my Baja a similar color as the brown one and calling it RootBeer with some heavy metal flake. I will be getting a 73 Bug to cut up in a week or so...

Speaking of someone disapearing. I recently exchanged some emails with Will from Lizzard Chasers he is still trucking, lives in town, and best of all still has his baja.

in our house it's called The Baja Bug or The Green Baja Bug

As for car names...

My 1974 Plymouth Duster is called "The Duster or Somtimes the Race Car"
My 1976 6.6 Pontiac Trans AM was Called the "TA"
Our Ford Focus Wagon was "The Focus"
The Jeep Cerokee is "The Jeep"
and or New Chrysler Van is call "The Red Van"

Some times I add It's a Monster to Both The Duster and The Baja.

So if I end up with a Clasic Ford GT40 what do you think I would call it?

That's Chuck's Rootbeer colored one. I see him around all the time. He is more into his son's MX racing.

Speaking of GT40's...

It was somewhere between 2000-2002 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale. This was back before it was a media circus. My uncle has worked the auction pretty much every year since the 70's, and employees get free tickets for family and friends (the # has gone down in recent years), so I've gone probably 5 or 6 times. Anyways my aunt and I were walking up to the main tent and a MK 1 Gulf GT40 had just come off the block. We heard the roar coming out of the tent, being a GT40 it was not a big fan of idling. Basically to keep it running the driver had to put the clutch in, rev, slip the clutch go a few feet, brake hard and repeat...

Of course everyone stopped to see what the hell was making all this noise. There was barely enough room for it to get through the crowd of people, I barely managed to squeeze out of the way. My aunt was a few feet ahead of me and was not so luck The front tire GT40 ran over the very front of her shoe. Luckily it didn't get her toes. She told my uncle and I guess that guy had driven a few cars like a dumba$$ and was "let go." How many people can say they have almost been run down by a Gulf GT40? Or even seen that almost happen?

Sorry I don't wanna jack the thread, the mention of GT40's always brings a smile to my face...
