I must reform my statement. I like stretched bajas, but I agree that 57's is pretty damn nice the way it is...

And xj, good is the keyword there and my camera sucks. Hopefully Im getting a Nikon D40, then I'll post tons of "good" pictures

Back on topic, mine is pushed 5 inches w/2.5 longer arms. Looks good to me, but your car looks great as is. But I know when you have the itch to do something it will drive you nuts until you do.

aren't you running a arms already?
If not, just buy a beam extender without drop from Volksrod.
But I agree it looks great the way it is.

I think it depends what your going to do with it. 4-10 inches longer is will make it more stable at speed. The negative will be the reduced turning radius.

If your going for more wheelbase - as opposed to compensating for longer trailing arms - it should get you a little smoother ride. But, there's a lot to be said for leaving well enough alone. That's a real nice ride 57.

Like I said, the car drives and handles EXCELLENT. If I did it, it would only be because I like the look. It involves a lot of work, so we'll see. It's not gonna happen this weekend. We'll see. If I get a wild hair, I'll certainly be posting pictures. I just hesitate to tear this thing down for fear that it won't get put back together for a while. Just ask those of whom have their cars apart right now. It always seems to be that it takes 5 times longer than you though it would.

I'm in the middle of it, and it's more involved than I originally thought. Can o' worms, it is! Mine's only 2" to compensate for the 2 1/2x1 front arms though, so it won't be noticable when you look at it.
