This place is dead. Is no one working on their bugs? Does everyone have all the answers already? Is there no technical advice that anyone can give? I guess so, eh?

C'mon fellas.

Liven this place up a bit.

I will put it out there, one problem here is a guy (not all) can post and it goes right on by, if somebody spends the time posting about his ride and the work he has done on it and nobody can at least say G.J, nice, looks good. At least the core group here should at least say something. I spend most of my time on STF but I enjoy this site, alot of nice rides in here and nobody gets to uptight. Just thought I would voice an observation, maybe help out. That is why most of us should be on here for. Comments welcome!

OK, you asked 57. I'll tell you where I'm at. Right now the pan and body are separated and I'm removing all the glue, tar-board (is that what they call that stuff under the original carpet?), general grime and the flat black paint some idiot previous owner painted with a rattle can all over the pretty factory yellow. When I'm done annoying my neighbors with all the racket the angle grinder fitted with a wire wheel makes, I'm going to annoy them some more with a sawz-all cutting off the rusty pans and excess sheet metal left by the original builder! THEN I can start the fun part (I'm serious - no sarcasm), painting and assembling the Baja out of this huge pile of parts I've collected! Hopefully, it'll be trail ready by the time the weather really starts to cool off - it's still triple digit temps around here. The only major thing I'm still missing is a roll cage, hopefully I'll be able to squeeze that into the budget before I drop the body back on the pan. Still a lot of work to do, but things are looking up.

Good point Leather. I now I'm guilty of only being a reader at times, and not a contributer. Some topics interest me more than others, to be honest. I guess I might have to try and jump in a little more often. I just don't want to be "Plastic", either. There needs to be a balance.

sandshark... save your duckets and do your cage before the body goes back on. It'll be well worth it in the end. You'll have a much better finished product with a lot less work IMO.

Preston... you always seem to have something to say. You're around when no-one else is.

BugZ... I'm gonna build a square some day. I love your Fasty project.

James... You always chip in on things and that's cool, even if you have nothing to say but a smile. I've often thought about that, myself.

I'd love to make an Arizona trip some day and meet all of you guys. Maybe we can put something together some day!
