Well first off I'll state my name; I'm James.

I'm 18 and am starting as a student at ASU in a week. I've been around vee dubs all my life with my dad once owning a baja, now he's into type 3's and drives the little blue notch back. (maybe some of you have seen it who knows)

Anyways, I just picked up my first v-dub today. I'm planning on building it into a daily driver, but yet a serious weekend warrior.

i'm starting with a freshly built 1915cc motor (that I did myself) that will have a single turbo on it. As soon as I finish fabbing the turbo set up, it's going into my newly acquired '65 bug that has already been cut for baja status.

That's about it I guess.

Welcome to the board! Hope to see ya around some of the events/trail rides/etc.

Keep us posted on your progress- pics are a requirement also (some of us can't read too well).

You'll need to post your pic's via a photo site, like photobucket and link them here. Most of those sites are free as long as you sign up for an account with them. Of course if you don't have one already.

dude i will totaly help you out to the best of my abilitys to help you out with your baja. i would love to throw in my helping hand and it would be pretty cool to do some work on it.
