Mine must not have been a bolt-in cage. I can roll my windows up and down. My driver's wing window just rubs the cage, but my passenger wing has to be operated with the door open.

You will have to open the door to roll your windows up or down, or go high tech and do the power windows. Life with a tight cabin.
