I vote for Queen Valley. It's about 30 miles from my house (out by Florence Junction), but you can drive all the way to the top of the Superstitions (Reevis Ranch Trailhead/Roger's Trough) without any difficulty at all, and there's also a myriad of two-track through the valleys and stuff at the base of the mountains- old mining roads and the like. Sometimes there's water flowing, and there's usually shade under trees and near the cliff walls. BEAUTIFUL scenery too. It's a 12 mile drive up to the parking area at the top of the mountains. Very easy from a technical standpoint- noone needs to worry about beating up their car on that drive. Parking area at the top is probaby at 4,000 ft or so- we could maybe bbq lunch or something...
