Let's see- I've been rescued TWICE in the last month by the wife when out of gas, and I've had the clutch cable snap once on my old '65 street bug- pretty wild when you go to shift, and the pedal goes WHUMP! to the floor and stays there! Mine was the hook though, not the cable.

Is it ON the freeway? I've got my flatbed hooked to my truck right now- you need a haul??? Just hauled my baja to Scott's and back with it yesterday...

Very Happy

You ever have things go to crap on you in a hurry?

I installed the new clutch cable. I put all of the pedal junk back together only to find that my Morse throttle cable is an inch short now. I cannot figure it out. I ended up pulling the cable. I think I will buy a new one of those now.

You like it? I see Chirco sells a roller kit w/cable for the same price as just a Morse cable.

I use a roller pedal, too. It works well when you are in the rough stuff and bouncing all over the place.

I used to use a roller, but I took it off and replaced it with a stock pedal recently. I'm not sure which I like best, but I'm actually leaking toward the stockie...

i like a roller pedal better than the stok one,i have always used a mongoose roller blade wheel...it fits a little loose but i love the "smoothness" of it...but we all have our prefrences.
