Thats what im going to buy first.

My fuel line is plugged.. Should I use aluminum fuel line? Steel?

The wiring schematic is the same if its 6v or 12v, you just have to change the bulbs, the generator and reculator & the wiper motor. The wiring doesnt change, just the voltage.

Plugged fuel line, take an old throttle cable and put one end in a drill and run it through the steel line just like a roto rooter. Use carb spray with it and it will help. After you get it cleared out spray more carb cleaner in the line and blow it out with compressed air.

Once it is unplugged find where the garbage is coming from, most times the tank either treat it or replace it, add another filter too.

don't forget the little screen in the tank tap. I think even late 60-early 70's still had 'em.

Unless you can reach it through the filler or sending unit holes with it mounted. Also if you do pull it out, there is a good product from POR 15 to put in the tank and prevent more corrosion, fill tiny pin holes etc. You can get it from an auto paint supply store.
