I got a 7 piece kit from chirco and I am a little nervous about cutting the front to fit the nose piece. I did get the template from chirco but still I am a little nervous on cutting it.

Can anyone give me a how to on it??

First thing is to put the hood on. Then start trimming a little at a time for the front apron piece until it fits the way you want. Then bolt the fenders on last. Every baja kit I have installed is a little different and there is always trial fitting involved.

Like Daryll says. bolt on the fenders 1st then take Black sharpi and mark the area in front of them that need to be cut. then Bolt the Hood on next and do the same thing. Last fit the Nose. Thats the way we have done it in the past. and it seemed to work. The back is the same way. Cutting less is better than more!!! after more is gone it harder to put more back Smile

NOT screws! Once your fitting is satisfactory drill thru the metal and glass part, nut bolt, flatwasher on the glass side. Experiment! Whatcha got in the garage? You can always redrill and just fill the glass holes.

Bolts, washers, nuts and if you want the glass to last, you can even use a rubber grommet on the glass and insert the bolt through the grommet and through the sheet metal. The rubber may help prevent the cracks.
