I LIKE bajas. But If I came across a '60 that was in good shape, I'd street it first. If it was really gone, I wouldn't hesitate to cut it up for a baja. I'd baja a split if it wasn't saveable enough to put back on the road. At least it'd still be in service. Smile

Anything late I'd cut up too. Like Mykul, I'm not a purist, but I'm more of a street rodder kid so I'd lean that way first. In the end, another Bug on the road (or off the road) is a win for us all, it's all about preference.

yup. same here man. theres no way in hell i would cut up a nice bug. the baja im driving now was in a front end crash, but otherwise perfect.

He is a dumbass, but not for cuttin up the bug, if he wouldnt of gone overboard with spray paint, it would be a really nice baja.

I just think if i found a nice early bug, i would make it a baja, unless it was in UNBELEVABLE shape, i just would have more funn off road than on the street
