This question is completely unrelated to the first. So I will admit that I dont know alot about VW's, actually I really dont know anyhting at all. But I was reading on how to adjust the rear torsion bars, my rear end is sagging. But when I went to do it last night, the spring plate was only aobut 1/2 inch off of the stop. Is this normal, does the 1/2 inch make that much of a differance? Can I grind that stop off so I can get more lift? Man I have so many questions. Does it sound like my torsion bars need to be replaced because they are streched out? Anything will help me out.

Thanks Again

Yes 1/2 inch makes a big differance.

And yes you can grind off the stop, but I wouldn't with a stock rear end!

Try turning up the torsions first.

coil overs should bolt right into the existing shock locations.
