I have a pair of Beards I'm going to give him. Will any size motor fit in this swing axle? The guy we got it from said it was a 50's pan.

any engine will fit as long as it has the old style flywheel or you can grind the bell housing of the trans a little and the new style will fit

is the trans 12v or 6v? It make s a difference on what flywheel will fit (unless it's been clearanced for a 200mm flywheel already)

first look I thought it was a cowl off a old ford, but it's either sheetmetal or a wheel barrow front. I think those front wheels are now called smoothies(fatalifeaten?)and are desirable to the LowLife crowd. If you got a title and the vin on the pan is 50's....well somebody may be real interested in a piece of metal and that paperwork....
I say throw a motor in it, paint the wheels a gaudy color and have fun.

Here is a picture of the interior. How much are those wheels worth? I need to sell some parts to fund and engine, and yes it is a 6v. It looks to have been street legal at one time. It has mirrors, turn signals and seat belts.

check the year on the pan. and is that a clear needle speedo? if so, that's another thing I hear these whippersnapper scrapers yak about.
It looks quite well made, you might want to search some old picture sites re;buggys. I recall a kit you could purchase kind of similar. Not a Econobuggy tho.

I think that pan may have been shortened, so it's probably not going to be a lot of good to anyone for a car, 50's or not, unless they have fab skill.

Really tough to tell from those angles.
