I bought a light bar from Chirco (empi) and if I try and fit it anywhere over the doors... the doors won't open or close. Am I being a total dipwad? (FIE don't answer that) My doors fit almost flush to the drip rail and I would end up grinding off a good part lip that catches the underside. Has anyone else gone through this?

Ooh- have you called Chirco and talked to Wiggins about it? Are the bars "one size fits all"??

Just clamp onto the drip rail as far as I can tell and I've tried to every which way... The space between the door and the drip rail is less than an 1/8". I guess I'll fab something up or mount it behind the doors.

Sounds like the doors need adjusted like mykul said. I have one on my baja and it fits fine. You should be ablke to loosen the 6 door bolts and drop it down a little, keep in mind you will have to drop the striker plate attached to the body also. Cool

Well moving the door down didn't do much... so I took a hammer and "adjusted" the lip of the door. Perfect Fit! Shocked
