I was looking for a particular VW part in my garage today, and while looking through boxes of stuff, I happened to think that it might be fun to take a picture of some of the things I ran across and see if anyone could recognize them all. Here's the test:

Good luck

OK here we go. Not sure on a few items because I cant tell the sizing from the pic but I will give it a shot.

1 Door Handle Trim

2 looks like an 8mm 1.25 nut to hold on the rocker arms or case bolt

3 Looks like the washer from the back side of a dash for an oh crap handle or padded dash.

4 Clutch cable wing nut.

5 Is a bolt/nut safety retainer, not sure if its supposed to be bent or not but if not then I would guess for the steering rag joint.

6 accelerator pump spring

7 Is a plug for the un used lights on the back of a speedo

8 Is either a throttle shaft from a solex or part of a wiper transmission

9 Rocker Stud

10 Rocker Arm Clip

11 Emergency brake pivot clip

12 Throw out bearing clip (easy to install if you own a small pair of vice grips)

13 not sure, can we get a clue on size and what its made from? is it white plastic?

14 Wiper transmission nut (just under wiper arm)

15 Distibutor drive shims

I certainly figured you'd be one of the better contenders BugZ, and you proved me right. You got a some of the tougher ones. You even got one of the ones I considered to be next to impossible!

10 correct, 4 incorrect
6 Points given.
(NEW CHIP LEADER)

Nice job.

#13 CLARIFICATION: It is white plastic or nylon. The clue on size is that all of these items were taken in the same photo. Therefore, it is relative in proportion to all of the other items.
