Is Sycamore Creek (sp?) still open to off roading? I heard that place was a lot of fun.

Yeah I live up at the Lake but am moving the RV back to North Pheonix tomorrow (Dam Gas Prices) I am gonna take a few weekends and get the area mapped on the laptop since there are just so many freaking trails up here.

The trails I have personally run up here are great IF your not lookin to get air every 50 feet and IF rocks are your thing. I havent been on the wildhorse west side of 99th ave yet but thats where the quads run and it looks like it is smoother and has some berms. On the other side of 99th is cowtown and there are 2 cool trails on either side of the canal, I have been on the north side of the canal and it is rocky all the way to hwy 74 so again if rocks are ok thats a cool place.

In 3 months up here I have never seen a state vehicle or cop anywhere out there and I know there are folks who throw parties out there with shotguns Smile (heard em and seen the shells)

I would sum it up as if you like to go out where the quads fear to tread, then some of these trails are for you. If taking a horse out on a trail and just going to someplace you have never been is to your liking, Then you WILL LOVE IT!! If you want 50mph and air.........Head to barstow Smile

Off roading at night is the best, That is almost all we would do. So the KC are for function not just looks. Also if you look I have some side lights that come on too.

We used to go by the blue point bridge area, it was great alot of fun and close.

I have a book that lists most all of the main trails in AZ, it has GPS points and all. It has a lot of info, most are 4x4 trails but it lists what difficulty they are. Let me know if anyone wants to borrow it to scope out some new trail rides.

that trail is 21 miles 1 way and about a 6 to 7 hour round trip. Kind of a rough road but listed as moderate, with some steep climbs.
