putting on tail lights. outside are turn, inside pair are driving and brake. Which do you like, between bars or on top?

I'd rather see them a bit higher up and in closer. That's just my 2 cents, though. BTW... Why run four lights when you can do the same thing with two? Just use a 3-2 taillight converter in your wiring to tie your brake wire in with your turn signals. They're cheap and a breeze to install (five butt connectors and you're done)!

never heard of a 3-2 converter, got a link?
The lights could go up maybe 1/2 inch higher if I cut the tabs off and re-welded them, I'm not sure it would improve the visibility of them by much though. Not enough to get my time anyway.

I started a new thread about this in the General Discussion area. I put pictures there. You can also Google the following:

3-2 Acar Taillight Converter

Hope this helps!

I also put a picture up of what I meant about installing them higher. I agree, 1/2" isn't going to do much for ya!

Are you using a street sign for a skid plate? ooooh reflective! I think the lights are more visable on top but everyone else has a good point about the protection aspect. I always vote for protection! Laughing

i think on top looks cool but if you do that their not safe. between the bars are the safest route.
