Ah yes ok. After talking with Ron @ Safari Off-Road and going over my set up I find he has a tranny mount that corrects that. He has also recomended moving the tranny back, putting the drive flange 1" ahead of the axle flange. Mine is sitting 6" ahead, putting an extra angle in the mix. Thanks for the info and the pics, did you move the nose also?

Nope ... I dont think you have to with 3x3's. I guess you could but I don't know how much I would have gained.

The axle flange is now at 15 degrees back on a horzional from the tranny output flange and 12 degrees down. I figure as the trailing arm cycles up and is nearing the elevation of the output flange that 15 degrees will increase. Make sense? Using T-2 cv's would stress them while under load...........at around 17 degrees when the car is under load and compressing.
Moving the tranny back would relieve that part of the cv load.
Correct me if I am wrong......

Pulled the body off tonite to start adding some more bracing and begin welding. Hopefully I can get the inside of the body cleaned up next week and get it put back on for the last time.

Here are a couple of pics without the body...

Get'in closer... Very Happy
