Might as well start mine.

Appletree or Whitehill frame (modified), 1914. turbo cam. 45 dell,T03/4 turbo,6rib stock tranny, 2 X 3 rear arms, 27mm torrsion, dual KYjelly shocks. 33 X 12.50 rear tires. Front beam 8 over with 4 X 2 1/2 arms Fox 12 coilovers, race braced (?)

For those who do not know, this is me. I know you thought I would be taller.

When I got tired of how it looked and ran this is where I started.

Before the frame change.

That is about it. I have tore this thing down 3 or 4 times I forget, never happy with it, maybe one day Rolling Eyes

Yea I cannot wait to get out there and do some riding with you guys.

You guys who have moved your tranny left or right to center the drive flanges, did you all move the foreward mount or left it at an angle?

Here is my forward mount where I notched it for clearance. Sorry not really good pictures.

Here is where I am going to cut and lower the tranny in the saddle

.

edit: got some more done.

Got the mount dropped down.

The frame horn notched.

Yea don''t bust on my welding, well unless ya need to.

And how close the drive flange is, lowered it down about 3/4 of an inch which helps on the CV angle.

Close but does not touch the frame horns Very Happy

Got some time today to work on the rail so this is what I got done.

I honed out the cylinders and painted the jugs.

Since I busted one ring I figured I would replace them all that way I know they are good.

Engine needs something so I should get busy.

Got the pistons stuffed in the jugs, drilled a hole in the Teflon plugs

Time to start putting cylinders on.

Finished with putting all the cylinders on so time for the heads, first put on pushrod tubes.

Second take off pushrod tubes and put bottom cooling tin and tubes back on.

So tubes on, tin on put the heads on and torque.

Done with the engine for today, unpacked what the UPS present guy dropped off

what did you use to seal the jugs to the case? why drill a hole in the teflon buttons?

Ahhh the darkside, Laughing Hopefully it will make it run just a wee bit better. Get some of the heat out of the engine.

Copper sealant, you drill a hole to let the oil out, the oil will screw with the weight of the pistons.
