How much do you guys spend on lighting for your baja's? For some reason i cant see my self paying 120 bucks for some KC's. I found some 7" off road lights for 10 bucks with cages and everthing:http://www.northerntool.com/ search off-road lighting
my uncle made me a sweet light bar(post pics later) so i wont have to pay for a bar
65 bucks for 2 hellas, is this a good deal?

It kind f depends what you want out of your lighting. If you really want to spend big bucks, I've seen some of the high-buck guys spend over $1000 for a pair of lights. Me? I opted for Hella driving lights, this time around. I used them for years before on the roof, and they're pretty decent. They have good range and they're not too penciled, meaning they're not like a spot light.

I've also run fog lights in the past, and if you get a decent set of those, they are neater than sliced bread. The range isn't that great, but they put out a REALLY low and WIDE pattern. This helps negotiating turns on dirt roads. I'm probably going to have to figure out a way to get fogs back on it, because they were really slick. Between the combination of the two styles, I think you can see about anything you want to see. Be wise, though: If you get fog lights, mount them as low as you can on the car. Otherwise, they'll be useless.

I picked up a couple from Pep Boys for $20 for a pair. They are Navigators or something like that.

my 4 - 6" round spots were $20 or $30 a pair at auto zone

front halogen rectangular floods (fogs) were $10 or less at harbor frieght.

then you have wire, switches, fuses, etc

You get what you pay for. KC's are expensive. I'm cheap. I bought some 5" H3 halogen lights for $10 each at Harbor Freight. They look cool but next to real KC light they suck. Good thing I don't drive fast at night....

Buy a cheap light (walmart or similar) and convert it. It works wonders and you get an expensive light, when bought normally, for a very reasonable price.
