I was wondering from some of the guys on here that have done this if you have any pics of how you finished the tops of where the pilars where and does the sheet metal end up being sharp? My wife wants to cut the top off but I was worried about having open holes where the pilars where and our kids getting cut on the sheet metal. any pics would help alot plus maybe some side views to get an idea of where to cut !! thanks

I wanted desperately to do this, but everyone on here (plus my wife) talked me out of it. I still love the idea though. Bajawarrior is a paint/body guy and can give you some tips.

I still may cut a big hole in the roof and make a faux ragtop out of it someday...

Why don't you guys just admit, you want a rail. You baja guys with your cushy seats, windows and doors, man I am jealous

If yuo want a topless car, jmaesr6168 will be geting rid of his body after he transfers the parts over to the one with a roof. He got tired of his not having a roof too.

How did you do the "lip" that goes around on the top of the body and it looks like you filled the holes that would have been where the door pilars where. How did you do that?
