I got the body off the bug so I can change the floor pans since the old ones look like they can out of the Flintstones car. I was thinking of using the Herculiner to paint the entire floor, kick panels, trunk area, under hood, under the fenders and body... basically anything that can rust or that needs to be protected. But I will be probably be putting in some type of interior or carpet.

Does anyone have any experience with the Herculiner? If so what did you think, how does it hold up? or any other suggestions on what to use?

This is the stuff: JCW Herculiner

We use herculiner exlusively. It has good coverage, and is very durable. We have the sprayer and do it that way, but you can also roll it on. It will fade to gray after a few years in the sun, but if your just doing the pan you wont have nay problems there. We have done several pans this way.

First we replace the pan halves and do any mods or welding that needs to be done, then we sent the pan out to be blasted and then the herculiner goes on the bare blasted metal.

Here is one of the cars we used it on. We even sprayed the whole inside of the car because the owner didnt want to put upholstery in it..

It will take 4 quarts to spray a pan top and bottom, not sure how much if you roll it on.

Remember he is spaying his. I dont think he's doing more than one coat (itcomes out pretty thick) I rolled the bottom of my one piece (rolling doesn't go as far. It used all the whole can to do it.
