Hey Phoenix guys, I headed to LA last weekend and on the way back I went I-10 through PHX. About 4 or 5 miles West of the Gila Bend Exit on I-10 (West of phoenix) I saw a large area with lots of trailers and quads/sandrails etc. Looked to be lots of sand/wash and "dunish" like area.

Anybody know what that area is/named?

I am VERY interested in taking my Red beast up there for some fun, if anyone wants to join.

I think I know where you're talking about. I have always wanted to play out there. I could tow the baja around with the truck Laughing

I remember seeing a Whiplash event going on there a few years ago. Didn't get to watch but looked cool.

Yes, it has a river bed, or wash that goes under I-10. I am up for a run there? we should plan one, it would be a blast.

That is the hasayampa(sp) river area lots of area to play and I'm told if you realy want an adventure you can take the river bed all the way to Wickinberg.

Never been there, but been by a few times. Kind of a "colorful" looking crowd, me thinks. I'm not big on high concentrations of people in relatively small areas- especially when they're mixing booze and gasoline-powered entertainment. The dust cloud over the freeway gets pretty intense sometimes- I'm surprised someone hasn't put a stop to the place. Low visibility and 85 mph traffic don't mix very well...

Blaine- just buckle down and head for the dunes man- you won't be sorry!
