Are you planning on staying with stock trailing arms and brakes? If so, just buy the beam (and possibly longer torsions for the wider beam), longer tierods, then put all your stuff on it. You can buy a Warrior beam from Chirco (and elsewhere). They're a +6 beam. If you want more suspension travel at the same time, now it starts costing a fair amount of $$$. Longer travel shocks, longer trailing arms, blah blah blah.

That help any?

If you have a ball joint frond end, you will need to do a custom beam or replace your frame head. A standard warrior beam will not bolt up to a B/J frame head.

Bugzyla, chime in any time.

I build conversion beams (link pin) that bolt into a balljoint frame head. You just need the parts off of a l/p beam to finish the job. I can build any width you want. The warrior beams are very nice, my only complaint is the adjusters are put in where the lowest setting is a lot higher than stock. I put my adjusters in so that the lowest setting is stock and you have plenty of adjustment to go up from there.

Yah, but you have a cool truck. Smile
Link pin was only up to 1965 and he said he has a 1966.

I'm on my seventh year doing this everyday and some times i miss these things.

BugZyla

How much do you charge for your beems? I wanted to do a wider front on mine but didn't want to go through the trouble of changing the frame head yet. b/j front end still.

I can do a widened b/j beam for $250 plus shipping, bare. Add $75 for torsions. I can also do a link pin beam that bolts to the balljoint frame head for $300 bare.

so for your conversion beam how did you clearance the balljoint bolt pattern where it intersects the kingpin beam tubes? I built one but it was such a pain to make I just never made any available.
