Pretty sure WEBER's like to run at 2-3psi, anything over that is too much.

I am running a single WEBER 40 IDF on my 1835 and it runs like a raped ape, wouldn't mind duals though.

What main jets are you running? Accelerator pump is functioning correctly?

Have you checked to make sure your jets just aren't clogged?

What exactly is it doing? running rough when you rev it or just trying to die?

More specifics would help to diagnos it.

WHEN YOU REV THE ENGINE IT IS RUNNING ROUGH AND BACK FIRING OUT OF ONE CYLINDER, THEINKING IT MAYBE OVERLOADING WITH FUEL. AND I HAVE CHECKED THE JETS ON BOTH.

Did this just start on its own, or have you introduced something new to the motor/ done any new work?

Have you synchronized the dual carbs? Seems to me if only one side is running poorly, it may be that specific carb. If you can narrow it to a specific cylinder, perhaps you have a jetting problem on the barrel of the carb.

Also, you said you run about 5psi, I am almost positive Weber 2bbl only like 2-3psi. Could still be too much pressure for the carbs.
