I have been searching for someone with good trail information as well (In the Tucson Area). I never seem to get any good leads, but Redington Pass is nice. Mostly 4x4 trails, but plenty the bajas can handle. The main road is nice to open her up and fly! (if its not too busy)

Here is a site with the OHV trails in AZ:
Arizona OHV Trails

If you are interested in making some runs in Tucson, let me know, I am willing to join. Lately I have hit the railroad tracks out towards vail (Probly Illegal). I have heard of some good trails down by Pategona and out by Mars Station Road. These are all on the SE side of Tucson. Up on the Northwest and towards Catalina there are plenty more - but I have yet to travel there.

What side of Tucson are you on?

Tuscon guys...

contact your local forest service office...they have maps.

check the book stores and library, there are books on trails for Tucson, Phoenix, and the rest of AZ. a bit o $ but well worth it.

look at google earth for surrounding roads and trails.

if in doubt, check it out.

an AZ topographical map (found at book stores, sams club, wal mart. etc) will give you landscape, trail heads, 4 x 4 areas, and more on a frickin huge page. book measures 11" x 16" or so.

I have these at home: benchmarkmaps.com/

look at the site and youll see how detailed they are.

they are sold locally like I said.

I picked up from Barns and Nobel Backcountry advetures Arizona by Peter Massey and Jeanne Wilson. I can't remember how much I paid for it. I am truly amased by the information in there. when I get my bug up and runing I am planing on doing the back road up to Crown King.

Bajafun is right , google earth is good , but mapquests arial view photos are more up to date & I heard from a Jeep guy that he downloads his GPS trails maps from Mapquest also, and they showed a sandwash we unintentionally ran up and it's relative location to a trail that got us out of a tight (literally) spot (at 2am!) & back to camp.

thanks for the info guys that good stuff.

there's some cool trails if you get off I-10 at tangerine road(in marana AZ) , going east about 4 miles and then on the left side under some large power lines, there will be a gate with no lock and some posted signs. (its state lands so you need a permit) there's quite a few trails back there. I've been exploring them. enjoy.

oh yeah, I'm actually in marana. buI'm on the south east side of marana soIt takes me about 15-20 minutes to get to ina and thornydale if you know where that is.

I'd love to go out trailing but as things would have it I'm baja-less right now.
I sometimes borrow a truck from my dad but i"m in the market for something now.
