Anyone know of any Body shops or VW shops that will give me an estimate on fixing the baja? I have not heard from the ins but I want to be prepared for when I do.

Try any body shops, just get as many estamets. When I got stuck from a guy turning left in front of me. I went to 8 around the area and then gave them an avarge of the four most expensive ( of course). they got me a check three days later. then I did the work my self and then i bought a tv, vcr and then armwar to put it in.

My problem is The Baja has a 1 piece front end, the baja front bumper, and the metal work that hold the gas tank up under the front end is all screwed. I just dont know if a regular body shop will touch it.

They may not want to work on it, but they can still give you a quote. Then just do the work yourself.

The saga countinues ... thier ins co says they'll only accept 20% resp. So now i have to contact my ins co to see what they are going to do cause I'm sure they wont accept 80% resp. Looks like sooner or later this will end up in court.

She drove into the path of your car, how can that be 20%

Take here to small claims court. sue the crap out of here up to $5000, I think is the max for small claim.

The max in AZ is $2500 and I am allready looking into that for the cost of repairs and the trouble I've had to go thru. I figure about $1200. I am going to file next friday.

Dont want to sound negitive but, a few years back in Indiana I was in a right hand turn lane going to the light and traffic was backed up in the 2 thru lanes. About half way to the light the traffic opened and out popped a car making a left turn from the opposite lane right in front of me, i locked it up but still t-boned her.

I went through the ins company shit and took her to small claims court. Her ins co sent a lawyer who....I swear said this "my client had the expectation of not being hit" I responded with "unless all the cars in the 2 northbound lanes were transparent, your client couldnt have any expectation, since she couldnt see me"

well the judge agreed with the lawyer and I got fucked cause she made a lefthand turn into traffic and i "didnt do enough to avoid the collision"

not trying to get anyone down but small claims court may be a crapshoot.

Talked to my ins co today they said no way am I responsible for 80% they are going to fight the whole thing. Thats great but it may take up to 6 months. So I cant fix anything on the Baja until it is settled.
