I have replaced Fox 2.0 Shocks.....
I have Adjusted T-Bars on a Swing Axle.....
I have replaced a castiron geardrive transfor cases out of a Blazer with no Jacks.....
I evan spent an after noon yanking an engine at the You-Pull-It during the middle of summer Hot with hand tools and a 2 buddys...

I even said "I do" once.... So Sad

But I have never ever and hope to never ever again, I will sell the jeep before I have to do it over.... I replaced the rear hatch struts by my self.... No! No! No! No!!!! No! No! No! No!!!! No! No! No! No!!!!

You will not belive how hard this is to do by your self and how heavy that rear hatch is once you remove just one strut...You have no place to put in a prop rod to hold the door open...It's crazy I'm beat,dead, tired and sore....plus it's hot Hot under that rear glass window...

It was a bigger work work out out than I ever need. I'm old tired and have a kid, How had could that be.

Yes it's not a Baja Shocked but it's the suport vehicle and with out it I can never go any were as the wife and baby will no longer ride in the Baja Bug Rolling Eyes

Evan my key board in now soggy GROSE!

Eric, next time (I know you said there will not be one) use vise grips on the other side to hold the housing on the strut up. It will hold it up and not damage the new prop.

Tried that Smile problem is new rods are about 1/2" longer than the the old ones. I could not compress the new one that half inch. So had to remove both sides to fit the 1st new one. 2nd side was not as bad. but did not use the vise grips on the new rod.

Autozone....Was getting a new optima battery for the baja and the rear door was droping on the jeep at that time so I just picked them up as my head was getting to meny lumps from the door drop.


But now I do have a ? for you the Jeep 1999 cherokee only came with one remote for the doors do you think you cn hook me up on a second remote.

From what I under stand it's like $200 or somthing like that, My moms GT PT only came with one key and a remote and the price seemed rather out there to get a second key and a remote.
