Post Post subject: Back seat question

I'm planning on going full cage with my baja, and I think I'm going to have to even bring my rear shocks through the wheel well and attach to the cage. So, the question is, anyone think there's a chance of having a rear seat setup wide enough for two skinny teens PLUS a carseat back there? They don't have to be comfortable (I still put a roof over their head so they'll just have to keep their whining to themselves!), just fit and buckle up for the occasional short trip around the woods or afternoon on the trails...

Any pics or suggestions? Modified stock rear bench? WIIIIIIDE suspension seat?

Thanks.

Let's see DONT come up with a chirco link for this one! Mr. Green

I've been thinking about that one too, except for the car seat. I think, if necessary, to push the top of the rear shocks outwardan inch or two. you might have to "mold" some body work on the outside, but it can be done and still look ok. The only way I can come up with is to stagger the rear seats. Depending on the car seat of course.

driver pass#1

carseat

pass #2 Pass #3

Kinda something like that. All you would really need is a stable and strong base to anchor the car seat too. Use a tether strap to anchor between the rear seat passengers. The beauty of car seats is they have their own belts. Just my $.02

A rumble seat? How about one on the front? Mr. Green

Talk about Mr. Toad's wild ride!!! Shocked

Here's a back seat for you..
www.chircoestore.com/c...7e5562016a

Too bad it won't fit in the car though.

Fitting room for 5 will be tight. I am trying to figure for 4 with a cage and shocks. I saw a car w/4 high back poly buckets but the car had no roof. I want headrests for my rear seat passengers, so that cuts down my options.

Why don't you just contour the cage with the roofline in the back and keep the stock seats?
