so im building this rail/super baja ground up, removable body. Im almost at the point for wiring. Ive done a lot of wiring on the hot rods and restorations, usually painless kits or ebay crap modified to my liking. Ive seen a lot of posts, including the really detailed one with pics and im wondering if I should just wire it up on my own custom following the schematics or if theres a basic 10-12 circuit kit out there that people have used and approve of. Im not going to do one with a pre0wired block, those are a pain. But if anyone knows of any decent kits, let me know... either ebay, chirco, factory5, painless etc! thank you! ps there is no stock wiring here ie fuse block, relays, switches, etc :/ (lets keep this here post going, I know a lot of people run into this same issue. Smile

Do NOT use the EMPI buggy kit. It has a really crappy fuse box in it. If you have the money use the painless kit, if not get a fuse block from NAPA and wire it to suit you.

Ditto on the EMPI one...I just bought it then scrapped the fuse box for a better one.

It's real simple once you do it. If you worked on the wiring of other cars, you should be able to do this fine.

Save the $$$ and do your own wiring kit. All you need is 12 colors of 25 foot length 14 or 16 guage wire , and 1 25 ft length of 10 or 12 guage for the main power, and an aftermarket fuse box. All for about $60.

Call Brian at Frontier Shop Supplies, 480-981-1126 and tell him I sent you and you are an AzBaja member and he will hook you up on the wire. I think he can get the fuse boxes too. Or if you wanna buy enough to do your car, I can cut it off of my 100' spools for you.

called him and I am getting the wire. He is checking on the fuse box. Daryll do you have the 10 gage wire in the 100 ft spool.? The smallest he could get was 10 ft. I am buying the 100 count conector, femal blade's, butt and 1/4 circles. These are bare conectors that will have to be shrinked wrapped. I am willing to share. Tom
