Ok I just got done putting in my seats, they're from a Toyota or something I'm pretty sure. Now I have these 5-point 3x3 Crows that I have to put in but the straps ain't that long. I can post pictures of the ordeal if needed, but has anyone else installed these or something similar? Any ideas? Right now the idea that we're probably gonna do is weld angle iron just below the rear window fron one side to the other and bolt them to it. What do you think? Again, I can post pictures if needed.

That same diagram is printed o the back of the box that the restraints come in. I know about the angles and all, but the shoulder restraints only reach so far, theres nothing to mount them to unless I go custom, I just need to know the best way of doing so. The lap part looks like it'll be fine in on the stock lap belt mounting holes and the stock seat mount pyramid will serve as a mount for the crotch strap.

you will need a bar across the back of the seats to mount the should straps to.

it should tie into a roll cage if so equiped.

Belts do not mount to the seat!!! mount them to hard points in the car. if you mount them to the floor/sheet metal use big fat 3" fender washers on both sides of the anchor bolt.

It's your Ass you want to save...

To add to the above, yes, measure your shoulder line and weld in a crossbar to mount the shoulder harness to. NOT angle iron or anything with an edge!

No no, nothing is being mounted to the seat. The lap belts are going into the stock belt holes, and crotch strap is being mounted onto the stock seat mount (its a 74, it has that pyramid thing for a mount). The seat is not attached to the seat mount, made custom mounts cuz they're like Toyota seats or something. Thanks for the tips folks
