I'm converting my 68 to a Baja. I haven't read or heard much about the rear z-bar, sway bar, or whatever that thing is called. Do you guys just get rid of that stuff, just like the front ball joint style sway bars??? Or do I replace the rubber stops etc. Rolling Eyes Thanks

Hibbard's book says to use the front sway bar as a stiffner in the steering, slide it in the steering arms, anybody read that part?

For inside the tie rods if I remember correctly. Are you going with a rack or a gear on your widened rack?

Well I plan on hooking mine back up when I fab up some mounts.I'm tired of my rear end going up into the air when I throttle it.(Because of the Redux boxes).
But I also like the idea of the Z-bar working as traction bars when I make it more of a solid mount(Such as regular sway bars with the link between chassis and a-arms).
But since I'm new at this,I could be just talking from the stinky place.

Rear thinking for the time being, soon as I get this thing to shift I am going forward.
