Ok I read some where that you can use the stock front fenders for rear fenders on a Baja. I understand that left goes right and vice versa. I have just been through all 7 pages of posts in the general discussion and did not find an answer to my questions. 1) How do you line them up? Do line up the bottom forward hole first then go from there or do you move it up one hole? No! No! No! No!!!! Okay #2 where do you cut them? No! No! No! No!!!! #3 Super fenders are a definate no-no? I have a pair of them too.
Any help would be great Very Happy

I have heard that super beetle front fenders are wider than standard fenders, but will work since you cut off part of them. I'm new at this too, but think you use the middle part of the fender mostly. Since you cut off the headlight area, I would think it doesn't matter where you cut it off at. Preference I guess.

I have set the fenders in place with a couple of bolts and they do look pretty good. I think it's going to take a little creative bending to get them to fit just right. I have also placed some front turn signals in place from a 75 Super as tail lights. I just need to get some red or clear lenses for them. c.i.p. has clear ones.
I took pictures but I need to get my kid to help me up load them.

try a set of the RED LED tail light bulbs, You can find them at most truck shops AKA "Semi"

Well I've changed my mind. I'm gonna go with fiberglass fenders. As I went to cut them I saw out of the corner of my eye the 63 and it seemed to say "Hey I might need them some day" So now I just need to know where to get a 7 piece wide eye kit. I'm know it will cost about $400 +/- $50. Then there is the shipping cost. How is Mark V for kits. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Oh one more thing what is the largest tire I can put on a stock four lug wheel with out looking ridiculous.
Thanks Very Happy
